IndexerThreads

Name

IndexerThreads -- sets the number of indexer threads started for indexing

indexer.conf

Synopsis

IndexerThreads {number}

Description

IndexerThreads defines the number of threads to start by default for indexing (indexer --index), when the -N command line option is not given on the command line.

More threads give better indexing speed but consumes more CPU and memory.

The default value is 1.

Scope

IndexerThreads takes global effect for the entire configuration file and should be used only one time.
